Changed in 1.1: §7 and §13 now set out exactly how a withdrawal refund is calculated (by time elapsed, not by usage). The change only adds detail in your favour, so it applies immediately rather than after the 30 days in §12.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Mímir Lens ("Service", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Mímir Lens provides AI-assisted coaching feedback for racket and bat sports by analysing user-uploaded video clips. Outputs include shot-level observations, a Mímir Rating, rally analyses, and gear recommendations ("gear engine"). All outputs are informational and educational. They are not medical, physiotherapeutic, or professional coaching advice, and they are not a substitute for in-person instruction.
If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian before you create an account or use the Service, and your parent or guardian must read and agree to these Terms on your behalf. This is not merely a formality: under Swedish law (föräldrabalken 9 kap.) a person under 18 generally cannot enter into a binding agreement without their guardian's consent, and similar rules apply across the EU/EEA.
Where a user is under 18, the parent or guardian:
By creating an account, or by allowing a minor in your care to use one, you confirm that this permission has been given. If we become aware that an account is held by someone under 13, or by a minor without guardian permission, we may suspend or delete the account. Where a purchase was made by a minor without the required consent, contact us and we will cancel it and refund any amount not already consumed.
Footage frequently shows people other than you — opponents, partners, coaches, and bystanders — and Game-mode recordings capture microphone audio of whatever is said nearby. Obtaining permission from everyone who appears or can be heard in your recordings is entirely your responsibility.
If someone who appears in footage on the Service objects, they (or you) can contact info@mimirlens.com and we will remove the material. We may remove content and suspend accounts where we have reason to believe the required consent was not obtained (§6.3).
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. All prices are in Swedish kronor (SEK). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until then.

Basic includes 4 single-shot analyses per allowance period and Pro includes 8 single-shot analyses per allowance period; both include unlimited gear recommendations, subject to the fair-use policy in §6. Live match tracking runs on your AI-coached match time: filming and tracking a match draws on the same monthly allowance as the coaching that goes with it. One-time packs are available to subscribers as a top-up to the monthly allowance; they are not sold separately from a plan. Cloud video storage is sold separately and needs no subscription: it is a one-time payment that adds the stated amount of kept-video quota for one year from the day you buy it, and it renews nothing. History, highlights, match reports and trend views are free on every account, and the coach dashboard is free for coaches.
All prices shown are the total you pay, including value added tax (moms). For customers in Sweden that is 25 % Swedish VAT; for customers elsewhere in the EU it is the standard rate of your own country, charged under the EU rules for digital services. The advertised price does not change with your location — only the share of it that is tax. The applicable rate and amount are itemised on your receipt.
Your allowance period runs for one month from the day you pay, and the metered features reset on that same date each month — not on the first of the calendar month. If you subscribe on the 25th, your allowance returns on the 25th of every following month. Where a month is too short for your date (for example the 31st in February) the reset falls on the last day of that month, and returns to your usual date the month after. Yearly subscribers get the same monthly allowance on the same monthly cycle, counted from the day the yearly payment was taken. The date your current period ends is shown in the app. Unused time and unused analyses do not roll over. Units bought as a one-time pack are separate from the allowance: they never expire, and they are drawn on automatically once the period's included allowance is used.

A coached match that begins while you still have time remaining will always run to its end, even if it exceeds the remaining allowance. Where an allowance is exhausted, any remaining wallet credit is used instead. Wallet credit does not roll over after a subscription ends or is cancelled, does not expire while the account is open, and is not refundable once granted (subject to the statutory right of withdrawal in §13).
Each plan may be started with a 7-day free trial, once per account. Starting a trial requires valid payment details and creates a subscription to the plan you chose. Nothing is charged during the trial. If you cancel at any point before the trial ends, the subscription ends with the trial and no payment is taken at all. If you do not cancel, the plan's price (§3) is charged on the day the trial ends and the subscription then renews normally until cancelled. You may cancel from Profile → Subscription in the app at any time.
During the trial the account receives 1 single-shot analysis, 1 rally analysis and 1 AI-coached match set — not the plan's monthly allowances in §4, which begin when the first payment is taken. The coached trial covers 15 minutes of coached play; a match set that begins while the trial is unspent always runs to its end, even if it exceeds that, and you receive the coaching for that match set in full. These are granted once per account and do not renew.
Accounts created before 17 August 2026 were offered the same three items without payment details. Any of those items still unspent on such an account remain available to it without payment details; this change does not withdraw them.
Cancelling is as easy as subscribing. You may cancel a trial or a subscription at any time from Profile → Subscription in the app, by the same number of taps it took to start one. We do not require a phone call, an email, a reason or a retention conversation: the questions on the cancellation page are optional and answering none of them cancels exactly as well as answering all three. Cancelling always takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — or, during a trial, at the end of the trial with no payment taken.
The statutory right of withdrawal in §13 applies to the subscription from the day the trial is started, and is separate from cancelling the trial. Because no payment is taken during the trial, withdrawing during it refunds nothing for the simple reason that nothing has been paid; cancelling has the same effect and is the simpler route. After the first payment, the deduction under §13 is calculated only over the days of the paid period — the free trial days are not counted as service supplied against the price.
Videos exported from the Service (highlight reels and individual rally downloads) carry a Mímir Lens watermark. The one-time purchase in §3 removes it from all future exports, including footage recorded before the purchase. It is a permanent, one-time purchase tied to your account and is not affected by starting, changing or cancelling a subscription.
Quarterly Consistency Challenge. At the end of each calendar quarter, the 3 accounts with the most weeks containing at least one analysis during that quarter each receive 50 bonus sessions, credited automatically. Ranking ties are broken by total analyses, then earliest sign-up. Eligibility and the prize may change with notice; accounts found in breach of §6.3 are excluded.
Single-shot analysis, live match tracking and gear recommendations are described as unlimited on the Basic and Pro plans. To keep them sustainable for everyone, the following fair-use rules apply. They are aimed at automated and non-personal use, not at ordinary heavy play.
Unlimited features are intended for one individual player's own footage. Usage that is materially inconsistent with individual personal play — for example, sustained volumes far beyond what a single player could film — may be treated as outside fair use. The metered allowances in §4 (coached match time and rally analysis) are not covered by this section; they are simply limited by their monthly totals.

Regardless of plan, the following uses are not permitted and may result in throttling, suspension, or termination of your account, with or without refund:
We may adjust the fair-use threshold for new subscribers at any time. For existing subscribers, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email before any reduction takes effect, so you can choose to cancel before renewal.
Your statutory right of withdrawal comes first. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA you may withdraw from any purchase within 14 days and receive a refund, calculated as set out in §13 and on our Right of Withdrawal page. Nothing in this section limits that right, and where this section and §13 appear to conflict, §13 applies.
That refund is worked out from the total price and the time elapsed — how much of the Service you actually used does not reduce it. For top-up packs, which are a fixed number of units that do not expire, the unused units are refunded instead.
Outside that 14-day period, subscriptions are not refundable for partial periods — you may cancel at any time and your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for (§6) — and wallet credit is non-refundable once granted. We may, at our discretion, issue a pro-rata refund where the Service is materially unavailable for an extended period due to our fault.
You retain ownership of the videos and other content you upload — and, with it, sole responsibility for having the right to upload it and for the permission of everyone appearing or audible in it (§2.2). You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process that content for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you (including transient processing by our AI provider and our GPU tracking provider). Those providers are Anthropic (AI analysis of extracted video frames) and RunPod (GPU shuttle and player tracking), both located in the United States. Under our agreements with them, they process your footage only to return the result to us: they do not retain it as part of the service and do not use it to train their models. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. The current list of processors is in our Privacy Policy, which we update if a provider changes. Single-shot and rally-analysis uploads are not stored after analysis is complete. Game-mode rally clips — which include microphone audio recorded during play — are stored for up to 48 hours so you can replay, download, and build highlights from them, after which the video is deleted automatically. If you choose to put a match video online from the trim studio, the full match recording (including between-point time) is stored for the same 48-hour window so other devices can view and cut it; manual trim cuts follow the same retention. We may retain analysis results, ratings, and aggregate metadata associated with your account.
In Profile → Data & Privacy you can opt in to "Help improve tracking". This setting is off by default. If — and only if — you turn it on, your Game-mode rally clips are kept beyond the 48-hour window as training footage used solely to improve our own shuttle and player tracking models. This footage is never sold, shared with third parties for their own purposes, or used for advertising.

You can cancel your subscription any time from your account or via the Stripe billing portal. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, including the fair-use rules in §6. On termination, your remaining subscription credits expire at the end of the current paid period.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". AI-generated observations and ratings can be inaccurate, especially with low-quality footage, atypical angles, or unusual lighting. Features labelled beta in the app (for example doubles tracking, automatic scoring, and tennis/padel analysis) have reduced accuracy and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. You are solely responsible for how you use the feedback. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties and our aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory Swedish or EU consumer law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden, subject to any non-waivable consumer protections in your jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect. For material changes that reduce your rights, we will notify you by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect for existing accounts.
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on distance purchases. At checkout we ask you to confirm that you want the Service to start straight away; that confirmation is your express request for immediate performance, and we record and repeat it back to you in the purchase confirmation email.
Withdrawing within the 14 days entitles you to a refund of the price less a proportionate amount for what has been provided up to the day you tell us, calculated from the total price and the time elapsed (Art. 14(3) of Directive 2011/83/EU). How much of the Service you used does not affect it. Top-up packs, which are unexpiring units rather than a period of access, are refunded on the units you have not used.
Withdrawing from a subscription ends it. The refund returns the money for the period, so the period stops when the refund is made; you are not billed again. This is the difference between withdrawing and cancelling under §6 — cancelling keeps your access to the end of the period you have paid for and returns nothing, withdrawing returns the unused share and ends the access with it.
The one exception is the one-time watermark removal: it is delivered in full the moment it is unlocked, and you confirm at purchase that you understand the right of withdrawal ceases to apply to it once delivered (Art. 16(a)).
