Effective date: 2026-08-16 · Version 2.0
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days without giving any reason (Directive 2011/83/EU; in Sweden, lagen om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler, 2005:59). This page explains how that right applies to Mímir Lens purchases and provides the model withdrawal form.
Changed your mind within 14 days? You get back the part of the price for the time you have not had. We work that out by days on the calendar — not by how many analyses you ran, how long you filmed, or how much coaching you read. Using the app does not reduce your refund.
You may withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of the purchase. Because you asked us to start straight away at checkout, we keep an amount proportional to what has been provided up to the day you tell us, and refund the rest — this is the proportionate amount described in Article 14(3) of Directive 2011/83/EU, which is calculated from the total price and the time elapsed.
Worked examples, on a 139 kr monthly plan and a 1 199 kr annual plan:
Those figures do not change if you analysed fifty shots in those five days, or none at all. After the 14 days, there is no statutory refund for a period already paid for — but you can cancel at any time and your plan simply stops at the end of the period you have paid for.
If your plan started with a free trial, the free days are not counted as time provided — you paid nothing for them, so they cost you nothing here. The days are counted from the first payment. And during the trial itself there is nothing to withdraw from at all: no payment has been taken, so cancelling before the trial ends is both simpler and complete — your card is never charged.
Packs are a fixed number of units that never expire, so “what has been provided” is measured in units used rather than days. Withdraw within 14 days and the units you have not used come back at the price you paid for them — withdraw from a 10-analysis pack having used 3, and 7 analyses’ worth is refunded.
This one is different, and we ask you to confirm you understand it before you buy. It is a permanent unlock delivered in full the moment it is granted, so it is a service fully performed with your prior express consent — under Article 16(a) of the Directive the right of withdrawal no longer applies to it once it is unlocked. If something goes wrong with it, that is a different matter and the guarantee rules below still apply; write to us.
The fastest way is in the app: open Profile → Subscription → Change your mind. It shows you exactly what would come back before you commit to anything, and files the notice in one tap.
Or send an unequivocal statement — the model form below, or your own words — to info@mimirlens.com before your 14-day period expires. Sending the notice before the deadline is sufficient, even if we read it later. We confirm receipt by email and refund using your original payment method within 14 days of your notice.
If we ever failed to tell you about this right before you bought, the law gives you far longer than 14 days — up to twelve months and 14 days (Article 10) — and in that case you owe nothing for the time you used. Our records note, for every purchase, whether this information was given, and we apply the longer period automatically where it was not.
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)
